Click here for this Artist's Gallery Durr, Alex Alex Durr is an artist and pilot living in Fort Worth, TX. He is a Florida State University graduate with a Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art. He also served as a Fighter Pilot in the U.S. Marines before becoming an airline pilot. Alex is a member of the Society of Aviation Artists and the Air Force Art program. Awards include EAA's Aviation Art Contest at Oshkosh, and National Museum of Naval Aviation. He also paints portraits and western scenes, but feels most challenged by aviation art.
